# My Teaching Approach
Hi! I’m **Steve Francis**, an English tutor dedicated to helping students build confidence and communicate effectively in English. My teaching approach is friendly, patient, and student-centered. I adjust my lessons according to each learner’s level, goals, and learning style.
# My Teaching Methods and Techniques
I use a combination of **pronunciation practice, phonics, reading exercises, vocabulary building, grammar instruction, conversation practice, and guided speaking activities**. I focus on practical English that students can use in everyday conversations, school, work, and professional settings.
I encourage students to participate actively rather than simply listen. I provide clear explanations, examples, corrections, and positive feedback to help students improve naturally and confidently.
# A Typical Lesson
A typical lesson begins with a short warm-up or conversation activity. We then focus on the main lesson objective, such as pronunciation, reading, vocabulary, grammar, or speaking. Students practice through guided exercises and real-life examples, followed by a short conversation or activity to apply what they learned.
Each lesson ends with feedback and a quick review of the key points so students can clearly see their progress.
# What Sets Me Apart
What makes me different is my **patience, adaptability, and focus on building confidence**. I understand that every student learns differently, so I make lessons comfortable, engaging, and easy to understand. I also believe that making mistakes is an important part of learning, and I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable practicing English.
# Who My Lessons Are For
My lessons are suitable for **beginner to advanced English learners**, including children, teenagers, college students, and adults. I can help learners who want to improve their **reading, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, conversation skills, and overall fluency**, as well as students preparing for academic or professional communication.
