English writing and rhetoric graduate with 4 years of copyediting and 2 years of tutoring experience helps with writing on any topic

In the time that Faith and I have been English classmates, I have always been able to count on her to help me absorb and process the material effectively. I would regularly go to her to ask for advice on how to best structure my essay, and she would always respond with thoughtful and nuanced ideas. Additionally, I would attend the campus writing center where she was employed to make sure my grammar and diction were not only up to par, but excellent. Even now, post-grad, Faith is the first person I turn to for help pertaining to any real-world writing exercise.

Faith served as the sole copy editor of a daily publication for which I was a reporter. She diligently reviewed each of the 88 articles I published, offering collaborative feedback that made me a stronger and more thoughtful writer. With her genuine patience and friendliness, I have witnessed her ability to make every person she works with feel heard and comfortable. Even amid stresses of deadlines, she can maintain a positive attitude and committed work ethic that contributes to a wonderful learning environment.

Her explanations of writing errors and suggestions are always kind and helpful. Having her eyes on any writing assignment is an advantage across the board. She demonstrates a vast knowledge on a wide variety of subjects, and I can say that learning and sharing knowledge are central to Faith's priorities. I am lucky to have been personally impacted by the dedication she showed to improving not only my writing, but also uplifting myself as a writer.

Faith proofread almost every essay I submitted over the course of my Bachelor's degree and always improved the quality and clarity of my writing. I would not have done nearly as well in my classes without her help, and she always explained her feedback so I wouldn't make the same mistakes again. She did a fantastic job preserving my voice while making my projects more understandable! Her edits are always constructive, and her passion for copy editing really helped motivate me to continue refining and perfecting my papers.

Faith is energetic and kind. Her experience as a copy editor and a tutor in the writing lab at Pepperdine University makes her a great fit for anyone needing help with their writing skills. It is always a joy to work with Faith; she is a great teacher.

Faith was my editor over the summer. She helped me become a stronger writer through consistency and clarity. She is so patient and helps ensure I am actually learning where I could improve. Faith makes sure every conversation is productive and fun at the same time. I couldn't recommend her more!
