Enthusiastic allround tutor specialising in Maths & Econ - Economics tutor with Jemima

at the beginning of the economics course I had been struggling, I had gotten a D in my economics lower 6th mocks. However after 3 months of working with Jemima I got 76% in the U6th mock exams.
Jemima helped me and was extremely patient and kind, being a very disorganised person I would often text Jemima a day before asking to have a session and she would always try and make time. I’m very grateful to Jemima for her help over the last year!

Jemima was the most influential person in preparing me for my Economics A level exams and making me feel confident towards them. All the lessons were very well tailored to the course and to my personal needs as a student. I certainly improved and learnt a lot while being taught by Jemima. She was always available to help and answer questions outside of lesson time as well as providing me with great materials such as past papers so I could improve in my own time as well. Jemima tutored my son on A level economics. Jemima was always reliable and punctual. My son found her lessons interesting, fun, well resourced with plenty of past papers, and very helpful. Jemima was a massive help throughout the run up to exams. Our sessions were exactly what I needed to reaffirm knowledge and make sure I didn’t just know but understood the content heading into the exam. Jemima is clearly very intelligent and her passion for economics is contagious. Furthermore Jemima knows exactly what candidates need to do to get an A* and is very good at demonstrating exactly what this is.

I had always struggled with Economics and really didn’t enjoy it in my first year of A levels. However once Jemima started tutoring me, I began to understand it, and actually enjoy it. Jemima was a very kind, instructive and helpful tutor, who found clever and easy ways of explaining topics, which is what I really struggled with. She used different methods of revision to find what I found easiest, which I thought was really helpful and different from other tutors I had had who stuck with their way of teaching, which did not benefit me. I would highly recommend Jemima, as a tutor to anyone, as she really helped me get into university, as her tutoring made be go from a B to an A*
