About Holly
Hello there!
I'm an energetic professional English and Drama teacher for children and adults ranging from the ages of 3-50 with over four years of teaching experience.
I have a Master’s degree in Acting. I am a Native English speaker and hold a TEFL. I consider myself to be a truly kind and patient teacher with a great sense of humor. I love teaching because I am passionate about inspiring and motivating young children to love learning. I want to teach because I’m a very patient, enthusiastic and I truly believe my teaching style will entice the students to learn more and more.
As well as teaching I also have a great interest in Acting. Prior to TEFL and obtaining a Masters, I studied Acting and Performance at Dundee University.
I have applied my Acting to skills to teaching, working as both a Theatre Chaperone and a Drama Workshop Leader; this included creating and devising a production over a six week period with children ranging from the ages of 7-13, during the end of the six weeks they showcased their production to family and friends.
As well as teaching I am an avid, swimmer, reader, baker, and traveler; I'm always fascinated to learn about different cultures, different lifestyles, meeting new people and learning about their history. So far I have visited Asia (Cambodia and Thailand) America (New York, Chicago, Arizona, Seattle, Puerto Rico, Europe (Copenhagen, Greece, France, Spain, Italy, Czech Republic)
I am very excited to continue my teaching journey!

I will create a work plan/lessons which will adhere to the students needs/learning capabilities. I include time at he beginning of each lesson to explain what will be included in the lesson and time at the end to recap what I have taught and if the student has any questions
