About Alec
I am a passionate Trumpet tutor with 9 years of teaching and professional experience. My journey as an educator has been built on the belief that every student can learn, improve, and enjoy music with the right guidance. I teach school and college students and always strive to create lessons that are motivating, practical, and enjoyable.
My teaching focuses on developing strong fundamentals, including breathing techniques, posture, embouchure, tone production, articulation, rhythm, scales, sight-reading, ear training, music theory, and performance preparation. I explain each concept in a simple way and encourage students to practice regularly so they gain confidence with every lesson.
Throughout my career, I have celebrated many rewarding milestones by helping students perform successfully at school concerts, competitions, and examinations. Watching students transform into confident musicians is the greatest achievement of my teaching journey.
I believe learning should always be positive and interactive. I encourage students to ask questions, stay curious, and learn from every challenge. My classroom is built on respect, patience, and continuous encouragement.
Teaching is more than my profession—it is my passion. My goal is to help students build musical excellence while developing confidence, discipline, and a lifelong appreciation for music.

My teaching methodology is based on making trumpet learning enjoyable, practical, and effective. I create personalized lessons that help students improve step by step while developing confidence and a passion for music. Every lesson is planned according to the student's abilities and future goals.
Motivation helps students remain focused and positive. I encourage students to enjoy their practice sessions and understand that improvement comes through patience and dedication.
Communication allows students to learn comfortably. I explain every technique in simple English, demonstrate each step clearly, and encourage open conversations during lessons.
Integrity is one of my strongest teaching values. I provide honest guidance, respect every student, and encourage responsible learning habits.
Creativity keeps lessons interesting and engaging. I use breathing exercises, tone-building practice, rhythm training, articulation drills, improvisation, and performance exercises.
Besides trumpet, I also teach music theory, ear training, sight-reading, ensemble performance, beginner arranging, rhythm studies, and music appreciation. My goal is to develop complete musicians with confidence and creativity.
