About Emiel
Hi! I am Emiel. I am 18 years old and I study at the conservatory of Leuven. How I got there is a bit of a crazy story. Until I was fourteen, I didn’t play piano, but accordion as my main instrument. That changed in a short time, because I got to know the piano repertoire and I quickly became fascinated and fell in love with the piano music.
From the fifth grade I was finally able to take piano lessons full-time, and in those two years I learned a lot. In short, I don't believe it's ever too late to start playing the piano, whether you want to do it recreationally or professionally. That's why I want to help students take that passion to the next level. :)

For me, learning didn't just happen in class. Discovering new repertoire at home, looking for your favorite pianists / recordings, ... it's all part of it. In the lessons, I try to give as many tips and tricks as possible to propel the student technically forward. In addition, I also want to shape the student as an artist and inspire them to discover new repertoire. So what you can expect during a lesson from me:
- A repertoire adapted to the interests and needs of the student
- New recommended repertoire to discover classical music better and in different ways
- Effective study methods that yield a lot of results in a short time.
