About George
I am a confident guitarist with 17 years of experience in both electric and acoustic styles. In this time I have studied techniques and styles from most musical genres, and played in a variety of bands from Rock, Metal, Indie, R&B, and Pop. Currently, I am studying Jazz to further my knowledge of music and the guitar. Have been transcribing (notating music by ear) for musicians to learn songs from for several years, which eventually led to an interest in teaching. Over the past 6 years I have developed a passion for teaching and sharing my knowledge of the guitar & music. I design lessons around the music you know & love to share my understanding of technique and music theory which applies to your style. Creating a relaxed environment and exercising patience, we will work towards developing an ear for music, therefore enabling you to analyse music at a deeper level to enhance your playing and build confidence to play with other musicians.

George is an excellent guitar teacher, his years of experience and absolute passion for music are evident in the way that he guides each lesson. After not picking up a guitar for more than 10 years he has helped me to play music to a decent level in less that 6 months. He gives me free reign over what I choose to learn and always keeps the lessons fun and upbeat, I could not recommend him more!
George is a fantastic guitar teacher, he's really great at explaining things and happy to teach exactly what I want to learn. Always polite and on time as well and a really nice guy in general, I'd recommend George to anyone who was interested in learning guitar at any level
