About Diana
Growing up in a Latvian-speaking household in Riga, I have been immersed in the language from an early age. While I don’t possess a formal university degree in linguistics, my practical experience and deep understanding of Latvian language and culture makes me an excellent tutor for beginners.
I have spent several years tutoring individuals from various backgrounds, including expatriates, tourists, and language enthusiasts. I have developed my own teaching methodologies and materials tailored specifically to beginners, focusing on essential vocabulary, grammar structures, and conversational skills.
As a patient and empathetic tutor, I understand the challenges faced by learners starting their Latvian language journey. I will create a supportive and encouraging learning environment, providing step-by-step guidance and personalised feedback to help my students gain confidence in their language skills.
