About Samuel
I am passionate about teaching having moved into a career in teaching since graduating from university.
I very much enjoy my job and I like to do my job well; therefore, I am highly motivated for my students to succeed and achieve their goals. It gives me great satisfaction when I hear that a student has done well.
I am attentive, friendly and patient in my teaching style and above all I always listen to my students.
Alongside teaching, I am deeply passionate about science, which is why I studied ecology and conservation to master's level. This helped me to further cement my scientific knowledge and explore my subject in more depth.

I am a passionate teacher and have acquired significant teaching experience over the last couple of years. After graduating from university I first started working as a teacher in a UK high school and then as a careers adviser for the National Careers Service. More recently I have been working as an English teacher at a private university in Spain where I have also been tutoring English and science in the evenings. I have an MSc Conservation and Biodiversity and a BSc Ecology and Conservation from Lancaster University and A Levels in Biology, Geography and History.
I always listen to my students and adapt our classes to suit their needs. Depending on the student I will look at the qualification they are studying for as well as at the objectives of the student and I will prepare and plan our classes accordingly. I always find that it is very important to identify any knowledge gaps or areas of misunderstanding so as to clear up these weak points through explanation, revision and practice.
I have experience in teaching all ages and I can teach young school children up to degree level students. A typical lesson will last an hour, but I am open to a variety of class lengths.
