About Rory
Hello! My name is Rory, and I love teaching maths, physics and engineering. I graduated from Oxford with a Master's degree in Engineering (First-Class), where I studied concepts covering maths, statistics, machine learning, mechanics, thermodynamics and electrical systems. I love learning and sharing that with others!
After leaving university I spent 3 years working as a software engineer for a health-tech startup, so I can bring insights from real industry that you won't get from a student or recent graduate. Before all that, I achieved 4 A*s at A-level and 11 A*s at GCSE, so you'll be in safe hands whatever stage you're at.

I can support all stages of your application to study Engineering at Oxford (where I studied) and Cambridge. We'll talk through tricky concepts from the ESAT, work on your personal statement to help it stand out, and prepare for interviews. I aim to make concepts intuitive, so you'll feel confident taking on new problems under pressure.
I'm also available to support with GCSE and A Level Maths and Physics, depending on my availability.
Whatever we're working on, I'll create a friendly, kind and patient learning environment.
