About Julia
My name is Julia Radebe and I am an experienced isiXhosa teacher with 9 years of classroom teaching experience, working mainly with Secondary school learners. Over the years, I have developed a deep understanding of how teenagers learn languages and the challenges they often face. I am passionate about teaching because I enjoy helping learners gain confidence and discover that they can succeed. Watching students move from feeling unsure to speaking isiXhosa with pride and understanding is what motivates me as a teacher. IsiXhosa is more than a subject to me — it is a language of identity, culture, and connection. I believe learners learn best when they understand not only the language but also its real-life use and meaning. I am now offering online isiXhosa lessons to give learners more individual attention and flexible support. teaching methods I have developed in the classroom over the past 9 years.
