With over 20 years of experience in the fields of textiles, graphic design, and illustration, I am dedicated to providing high-quality, supportive instruction to all my students. My extensive background in the creative industries allows me to offer a well-rounded approach to teaching, guiding students through both technical skills and conceptual development. My goal is to inspire confidence in each student by fostering a supportive and collaborative learning environment where they can thrive. Lessons are 1 to 2 hours long, with online options available if needed. My aim is to support and guide students in preparing for state exams and succeeding in college applications by helping them build strong portfolios. I achieve this through personalized instruction, inquiry-based learning, and hands-on, kinesthetic approaches. This means we work closely together, exploring techniques and creating physical work, drawing on my 20 years of experience as an artist, designer and teacher.
