About Anita
My interest in Excel began when I realised how powerful it is for organising and understanding information in a simple way. I pursued a Bachelor’s in Information Systems, where I developed strong skills in working with data and digital tools. Over the past 8 years, I have helped students and professionals learn Excel in a clear and practical manner. My experience has allowed me to understand different learning styles and provide guidance that suits each individual learner.
I believe that Excel should be taught in a way that feels easy and approachable. My teaching style focuses on breaking down each concept into small, manageable steps and using real-life examples to explain ideas clearly. I encourage students to practise regularly and explore different features, which helps them build confidence and independence. I also provide continuous feedback and support so students feel guided throughout their learning journey.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring new Excel features and improving my knowledge of data handling techniques. This helps me keep my lessons updated and relevant to real-world needs. Teaching Excel is very rewarding for me because I see students grow from beginners into confident users. Helping them develop a practical skill that supports their studies, careers, and daily work gives me great satisfaction and motivation.

Excel becomes simple and useful when students understand how to handle data in a clear and organised way. In my lessons, I focus on building strong basics such as data entry, formatting, formulae, and essential functions. I explain each feature step by step so students can follow without confusion and apply what they learn immediately. I use practical examples like tracking expenses, organising lists, and managing small datasets to make lessons more relatable and meaningful. Each session is designed to be calm, structured, and interactive, allowing students to explore features comfortably and ask questions without hesitation. This helps build confidence from the beginning and creates a strong foundation for further learning.
As students improve, lessons move towards more advanced topics such as data analysis, charts, pivot tables, and simple automation techniques. Beginners focus on understanding the basics and practising simple tasks. Intermediate learners work on improving accuracy, speed, and efficiency while handling larger data. Advanced learners explore solving real-world problems, organising complex data, and improving workflow. I include regular exercises, feedback, and revision so students can track their progress and improve steadily. This structured approach ensures that learning remains smooth and effective.
Excel also helps students develop logical thinking, attention to detail, and better organisation skills. As they gain confidence, they begin to approach tasks more efficiently and present data clearly. They learn how to work independently and make informed decisions using data. My goal is to help students feel confident using Excel in both academic and professional situations while building a skill that remains useful in many areas of life.
