I convey to students the importance of these courses and make them a bit more interested in their studying1. While introducing any new topic, build on their previous knowledge.... that is -link the topic with something that they already know.Give everyday examples or some illustrations, so as to make them understand the concept....Add humor related to the topic...it makes the topic attractive, and maintains their attention.... Repeatedly emphasis the important points. Keep the lessons interactive. Ask them questions that stimulates critical thinking.Ask questions in general to the whole class.. and find out their answers...if it is right then compliment them, if it is wrong then give them an answer & explain why it's wrong... I am friendly and then they won't hesitate to answer or ask their doubts....
