From a young age, music has been an intrinsic part of my life. Although initially seen as a punishment by my mother, who urged me to learn the piano, I soon discovered the magic of blending piano melodies with my poetry, transforming music into a unique spoken word that weaves captivating stories.

Makeba is patient, knowledgeable, and she is easy to learn from. She explains in a way that is either to understand and will help along the way.
Makeba is one of the best teachers I've had. I had other teachers in the past that weren't working. When I was going to give up, I found her and I just love her energy when she teaches! I like how she really listens to the student and uses different examples to explain everything. It's really cool and I think she's a great choice for people who want to learn.
