About Pétur
With over 15 years of experience in international acting, I bring a grounded and supportive approach to teaching. My training at Cours Florent in Paris and roles in productions like Netflix’s Trapped, Capitani, and Tatort have shown me how vital it is to be fully present, building trust with both yourself and those you work alongside.
In our sessions, we explore techniques like Michael Chekhov, Lucid Body, and Meisner, focusing on authentic expression and creative confidence. Each lesson provides a safe space to develop resilience in a challenging industry and to connect deeply with your craft. Whether you're new to acting or advancing your skills, I’ll guide you toward bringing your fullest self to every role, one step at a time.

My teaching method is rooted in creating a safe and trusting environment, where students feel encouraged to fully express themselves. I work with techniques like Michael Chekhov, Lucid Body, and Meisner, which emphasize emotional depth, physical awareness, and spontaneity. Each lesson focuses on bringing students into the present moment, helping them connect authentically to their emotions and to the role they’re playing. This approach nurtures both emotional intelligence and resilience, so students can navigate the demands of acting with confidence and stability.
We begin each session with a grounding and relaxation exercise, preparing body and mind for authentic expression. From there, we dive into exercises tailored to the student’s goals, such as character embodiment or emotional recall using Chekhov's gesture techniques and Lucid Body methods. Each lesson concludes with a reflection, where we discuss insights gained and establish next steps to deepen the student's craft and confidence.
I integrate a strong focus on emotional well-being and mental resilience into my sessions, helping students thrive in a demanding industry. Having acted in international productions, including Netflix’s Trapped and Capitani and Tatort, I provide practical insights from real-world experience. This approach encourages students to develop both their technique and their resilience in a sustainable, fulfilling way.
