Hi I'm Luca! I recently graduated from Pembroke School achieving a perfect score of 45/45 in the International Baccalaureate Program. Despite unfavourable grade boundaries post-COVID and an updated and difficult ATAR conversion system, my IBAS score converted to an ATAR of 99.95. Whilst preparing for exams and writing IAs, I also scored a 99th %ile UCAT score of 3350. Having 3 years of tutoring experience, I have a wealth of resources and knowledge that ensures success for students of all levels, building confidence in an undoubtedly challenging and rigorous program.
Many of my component scores were in the 90s - considerably higher than the average grade boundary for a 7 (in the 70s/80s). I tutor the following subjects:

- Chinese SL .... 100% in Oral, 95% in Paper 2 reading
- Geography SL + HL .... 96% in Paper 3

I adopt a holistic teaching approach in which a firm foundation in basic conceptual understanding leads the way into more challenging applications and extension problems. My system of teaching encompasses concept consolidation, revision for school tests and final exams and accelerated learning. Having received no tutoring for my IB subjects, on one hand I was able to develop a in-depth understanding of each of my subjects, but also made mistakes along the way - things that I wished I knew earlier on in my IB journey.
