About Andrew
I am a qualified music teacher with over six years experience teaching both instrumentally and in the classroom. I hold a first class honours degree in music from Royal Holloway and a Postgraduate Diploma of Education from UCL. In addition to this I hold a DipABRSM in piano and have worked to grade 8 on violin and singing. I have experience teaching IB, GCSE, BTEC, and A level music alongside guiding students through their key grade 5 and 8 piano exams.

I have experience teaching to Grade 8 and A level and blend practical and theoretical studies to ensure a holistic and comprehensive approach to the learning of your chosen instrument. My lessons take place in Kennington in, piano students having access to a dedicated and sturdy grand piano. Lessons focus on progress and enjoyment, exploring varied pieces and increasing overall musical understanding.
