About Roisin
Hello, everyone. My name is Roisin and I am from Cork, Ireland. I have just finished my year of teaching English in South Korea and I want to continue teaching online. I graduated from MTU in 2021, where I received my Level 8 Bachelor's degree in International Business and German. My Teaching English qualifications include: ● 120-Hour online Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) course. ● 30-Hour online Teaching English Online course. ● 10-Hour Advanced Certificate in TEFL Classroom Methodologies Course. ● 30-Hour online IELTS Preparation course. ● Cambridge Speaking Test Preparation Experience From September 2021 to May 2022, I worked as an English teaching assistant in a German high school and I conducted private tutoring classes outside of work. I also helped the school principal with the Cambridge speaking section of the class. So, I have a lot of experience working with students of various ages and various English levels. From January 2023 to January 2024, I worked as an English Kindergarten and Elementary Teacher in South Korea. During my time working there, my students spent the day learning English in an academic and fun way which led to the children learning English at a rapid pace. I am really passionate about helping students overcome hurdles when it comes to learning the English Language as I know it can be quite challenging. My teaching experience has helped me work harder to help students speak English more confidently, naturally, and comfortably. I can offer lessons online via Zoom, Skype, or Microsoft Teams. In the free trial lesson, we can work together to see what kind of class material suits you best. I always like to create a lesson plan that is unique to every learner, as every student has different learning and studying techniques! My main goal for the lessons is to get you feeling more comfortable when working with English. I also lived abroad on my own, so I understand the struggles of learning a new language!
