About Colin
Hi! I’m Kuilin (Colin), a native Mandarin speaker currently studying at the University of Melbourne. I’m passionate about helping others discover the beauty, depth, and practicality of the Chinese language, both in everyday communication and through traditional arts like calligraphy. I hold a national Mandarin proficiency certificate and have over seven years of formal training in Chinese calligraphy. I’ve also worked as a host for various events, which helped me develop strong communication and presentation skills that I now bring into my teaching. I started tutoring because I genuinely enjoy seeing students grow in confidence as they learn to express themselves in a new language.
