About George
I am a Cambridge University student and sing in a high-standard college choir as a countertenor (male alto). I received a grade 8 in singing in 2018 and have sung as both an alto and a bass. I am experienced in singing choral music, solo classical music, musical theatre, and pop amongst other styles and am comfortable teaching many styles and all voice types. I play piano to a grade 8 standard, have a strong knowledge of music theory and I am well equipped to teach music theory/aural skills/sight singing as a part of our lessons as desired. I have a full DBS and extensive mentoring experience.

Sessions will be targeted at whatever it is you are aiming towards - whether you want to be able to sing a particular song, are aiming for singing grades, want to expand your repertoire, or are a beginner and have no idea where to start. We will decide a plan of action to get you well on your way to your target, making achievable steps quickly so that your goal is reached with a great deal of satisfaction. I am happy to look at any songs you send me and can discuss these with you, advising you on what is the best way forwards. Get in touch so we can have a chat and get you on your way to your goal!
