About Glen
I am a Computer Programming tutor with over 5 years of experience and a BSc in Computer Science. I work primarily with high school students preparing for IGCSE and A-Level Programming exams. My lessons focus on building strong foundations in coding through clear explanations and interactive exercises. I use live coding demonstrations to illustrate concepts in real time. Students practice solving algorithmic problems and debugging code for hands-on learning. I cover essential topics such as Data Structures, Object-Oriented Programming, and Basic Web Development. Past papers and practice exercises are integrated into every lesson to prepare for exams. I make abstract programming concepts accessible and engaging. Each session is tailored to the student’s pace and learning style. I encourage logical thinking, problem-solving, and efficient coding techniques. Students gain confidence in writing, analysing, and testing code. Challenging programming concepts are broken down step by step. Together, we work towards mastery and exam success. Lessons combine live coding demonstrations with simple, clear explanations. I support Future Developers and Logical Thinkers, helping them gain confidence in fundamental programming principles. Students are guided to write, test, and debug code effectively. Exercises strengthen problem-solving and analytical thinking. Real-world examples make abstract programming concepts tangible. Creativity is encouraged alongside logical reasoning to deepen understanding. Each session is paced according to the student’s learning style. Together, we transform challenging programming ideas into achievable skills. With steady practice, you’ll master the building blocks of programming with clarity. My goal is to help students excel academically and practically.
