About Shannon
I am a highly experienced elementary educator with a Master’s degree in Elementary Education and I am currently working toward my Specialist degree in Education. I have been teaching elementary school since 2010 and have 15+ years of experience teaching math.
Over the years, I have helped many students strengthen their math skills, improve their confidence, and truly understand concepts that once felt confusing. I specialize in working with elementary students and breaking down math into clear, simple steps that make learning manageable and engaging.
My tutoring style is patient, encouraging, and personalized to each child’s learning needs. Whether a student needs help with homework, test preparation, or building a stronger math foundation, my goal is to help them feel confident and successful in math.
I believe every child can be successful in math with the right support, and I love helping students reach that ‘aha’ moment when everything starts to make sense.
