I am a qualified and experienced Elementary Math teacher and tutor who genuinely enjoys helping children grow in confidence and ability. My tutoring approach is student-centred, supportive, and structured, with a strong focus on building confidence and understanding in mathematics. I begin by assessing each student’s current level and learning needs, then tailor lessons to target gaps while reinforcing key concepts. I use clear explanations, step-by-step modelling, guided practice, and age-appropriate problem-solving to help students grasp ideas securely. Lessons often include visual aids, hands-on activities, and real-life examples to make learning meaningful and engaging.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, allowing time for concept explanation, guided practice, independent work, and feedback. Short reviews and targeted practice are used to consolidate learning and track progress over time.
I am a qualified and experienced Elementary Math teacher and tutor, with experience teaching primary-aged students across international curricula. I have worked with students of varying abilities, including those needing extra support and those looking to extend their skills.
