. Students build a relationship with me that is also fun. I get to know their strengths and help them see it as well. . I have my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on English Language Learners which I have taught for 24 years. I’ve taught Reading levels Pre-k through Adults for over 35 years altogether. My last position was here in town at The Orton Academy, a dedicated school for dyslexic children

Orton Gillingham, a phonics approach that, is a n engaging, efficient, and effective Science of Reading Program. It is multisensory, (Oral, Visual, Kinesthetic.) diagnostic, prescriptive, and systematic. After using the methods of this approach for several yea, it has proved just how effective it is in advancing students’ reading and writing skills. It is used in K, 1, 2, 3 and used with dyslexic, special needs and English language learners providing confidence with much growth. We have fun,too!
