About Mary Ann
As a committed and qualified tutor with over 7 years of teaching experience, I specialize in English and Social Science for students in Grades 7 to 12. My academic background includes an MA in English Literature, BA in English and Communicative English, and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), equipping me with both subject expertise and effective teaching strategies. My classes are designed to be interactive, engaging, and tailored to individual learning needs. I believe in fostering critical thinking, creativity, and clarity of expression—skills that go beyond the classroom. Whether it's mastering grammar, appreciating literature, or understanding complex social concepts, I ensure that each student gains confidence and a deep understanding of the subject. Lessons typically run for 45 minutes to 1 hour and are suitable for students from varied educational backgrounds, including CBSE, ICSE, and international curricula. I take pride in creating a positive, respectful, and motivating learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, express ideas, and grow at their own pace.
