About Erin
My passion for teaching has always stemmed from being a curious learner. I teach because I want to inspire, even the most unsure learners. I thrive on building confidence and I have a strong understanding of the difficulties some students face when reaching for their full potential. I am motivated by individual needs and believe every student has their own unique style, which paves their own path to success. I value building professional and possible relationships with students and believe it’s the key to foster healthy, positive and successful learning outcomes.

My tutoring sessions are enriched with exceptional English subject knowledge and are planned bespoke to improve gaps in learning and stretch and challenge learners. I plan lessons which align with the KS3 and KS4 English curriculum. Some of my lessons focus explicitly or contextually on life skills which encourage students to competently navigate the working world around them.
