The usual summary of the first class is the following;
1. The student’s English level will be assessed through a brief conversation, and their goals will be identified.
2. Vocabulary related to their interests will be practiced.
3. Grammar reviewed and discussed together.
4. Pronunciation will be worked on using a short reading exercise.
5. A small homework task will be assigned for example to write sentences about their daily routine.
These steps will be modified based on the age/needs/level of each student.
