About Ella
I am an English tutor with a First-Class degree in English Literature from a Russell Group University, and I have been teaching since 2020 in high schools and special education units across the UK.
I initially started teaching with the Tutor Trust, which offers free tuition to disadvantaged young people in the UK. This led me to teach English to neurodivergent young people who struggled within mainstream education. I also hold a TEFL qualification and have tutored ESL students worldwide, including in the UK, Lithuania, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Italy, and Kuwait.
Alongside working with students in schools, I have provided English support within government institutions, embassies, and banks, helping learners achieve their goals in both professional and academic settings. I have previously worked with the Bank of Spain, the French Embassy and governmental ministries within Lithuania.
I want to teach because I genuinely enjoy helping students discover their own voice, gain confidence, and achieve their full potential. I believe learning should be interactive, engaging, and personalised, and I love guiding students to think critically, craft strong arguments, and express their ideas clearly. Seeing a student grow in confidence and succeed academically is what drives me — and it’s why I love teaching.

I am an experienced English tutor with over 5 years of teaching English Literature, English Language, and the 11+. I have helped students achieve top grades at GCSE and A Level, as well as gain entry into competitive schools and universities.
My lessons are fully personalised to each student’s needs, learning style, and ambitions. I focus on building confidence through structured, engaging activities and providing clear, targeted feedback after each session, aswell as monthly updates and reports to track progress.
I believe learning should be interactive and empowering. My aim is to help students develop strong analytical and writing skills, while also encouraging them to form their own ideas and opinions — skills that support them not only in exams, but throughout life.
Whether your child needs support with exam technique, writing, reading, comprehension, or subject confidence, I am committed to helping them make real, measurable progress.
My lessons are usually 50 minutes/ 1 hour, in the first lesson, I assess my students' level and needs and then conduct a personalised learning plan which we will adapt on a monthly basis based on their progress.

I teach all ages, from young to adult learners (5 years to 18 +).
