About Lindsay
About Me Hi, I’m Lindsay — a passionate and professional English educator with over 13 years of teaching and leadership experience across the Middle East and Africa. I hold a BA in Humanities, a PGCE, a BA Honors in Psychology, and a Master’s in Educational Leadership. I’ve had the privilege of working with students from diverse backgrounds, helping them strengthen their English skills, boost academic performance, and build lasting confidence. I’ve supported learners across middle and high school levels, as well as university students, and I’m certified in AP English and AP Seminar. I’ve also helped students prepare for exams such as IELTS, MAP, IGCSE, and A-levels. My lessons are structured, supportive, and customized to fit each student’s needs. Whether you’re working on essay writing, grammar, reading comprehension, or fluency in speaking, I aim to make learning engaging, empowering, and effective. Beyond the classroom, I’ve led curriculum design, coordinated academic programs, and mentored teachers. I bring that same level of care and commitment to every student I teach. About My Lessons
My lessons are personalized, supportive, and goal-oriented. I specialize in helping students strengthen their English skills in grammar, writing, reading comprehension, and speaking — whether you're a non-native speaker, preparing for exams, or just want to feel more confident using English in academic or everyday settings.
Each session is designed to meet your specific needs. I’ll help you:
1. Improve sentence structure and grammar
2. Master academic writing techniques (like PEEL paragraphs)
3. Build a strong vocabulary for both formal and casual use
4. Analyze texts and respond with clear, thoughtful answers
5. Practice for oral exams, interviews, or presentations
6. Prepare for school assessments, MAP, IELTS, AP, IGCSE, A-levels, and more
My teaching style is encouraging, interactive, and flexible. I believe students thrive when they feel seen and supported — so whether you need structured lessons, casual practice, or intensive exam prep, I’m here to help.
Lessons can be delivered online via Zoom or Google Meet and include guided practice, feedback, and optional homework support to help you keep improving in between sessions.
