About Louis
I have a degree in Politics from Sheffield, a place at UCL for a PGCE in September to train to be a Citizenship Education teacher, and a burning desire to help students catch up after a tough couple of years.
I benefitted massively from tutoring when I was in school, and I want to help others see their value and build that confidence in literacy and creative writing.
These skills are so important, not only for exams but for personal statements for university.

Having taught 1-1 and in groups within a school setting, I have a wealth of resources.
Firstly, I set up a free consultation with any student that has shown interest in my services, to assess their needs. This includes a short test.
Then, I look to develop lessons on key weaknesses, identified by the test.
Over the course of our sessions together, students make trackable progress, instilled by the most up to date teaching methods.
As our sessions draw to an end, the key areas for development are targeted through fun and engaging activities.
After our sessions have finished, students can feel satisfied that they have improved on their big weaknesses.
