About Brilla
I'm Brilla, a London-based writer and communications professional with a first-class love of language and a 2:1 in Creative Writing.
For years I've helped brands tell authentic stories clearly and compellingly, now I want to do the same for students. I became a tutor because I've seen how the right support can transform a student's confidence, not just their grades. I'm patient, encouraging, and I believe every student has a voice worth developing.
When I'm not tutoring, you'll find me writing, creating, reading, or exploring the city's book and coffee shops.

I'm a Creative Writing graduate (2:1) with an MSc in Media & Communications, a professional background in communications, and an enhanced DBS certificate.
I tutor English Language and Literature from KS3 to GCSE, 11+ English, creative writing and essay writing, plus CV writing for adults.
My approach is structured but personalised: I start by identifying each student's strengths and gaps, then build lessons around their exam board (AQA, Edexcel, OCR) and the texts or question types they find hardest. Lessons are typically one hour, online or in person in London. Whether the goal is confidence, moving up a grade, or 11+ preparation, every session is tailored to the individual.
