About Amy
I studied French at the University of Nottingham, spending the third year of my degree in France. While I was there, as well as being completely immersed in the language, I taught English to classes of primary school children, as well as privately tutoring older students. I completed my degree in 2015 and received a first class degree as well as a distinction in spoken French. Though my French now is good, it took a lot of hard work to get there and I understand lots of the struggles with grammar and pronunciation that I myself had. When I left university I privately tutored for French and English Literature GCSE with both of my previous tutees moving up a grade as well as commending my teaching style. I would love to help you enjoy French and can help with French speaking, pronunciation, listening, reading, writing and grammar. I have a DBS check and can provide references on request.
