About Jonathan
Hi! Welcome to my profile. A little bit about myself: I studied Creative Music Technology at Hull University, and now perform all over the UK as a pianist vocal specialist. As well as teaching piano during the week, I also compose and produce music on a regular basis. Please have a look around my profile, and don't hesitate to contact me should you have any questions! Coming from a very musical family, I started my teaching experience very early on. From the age of 19 I started to take on some of the piano student beginners that my mother did not have room for. 15 years (and many thousands of teaching hours) on from then, I have gained a lot of invaluable teaching experience! This includes pupils of all ages, standards, and learning goals. You know what they say, experience is everything! Jon is an extremely patient and natural teacher. He encourages me to challenge myself to progress through the grades. As an adult learner his calm and positive approach has been great for giving me the self confidence to keep going and improving.
Jon has taught my son Arthur piano once a week for the past year or so. He is reliable, trustworthy and always on time. He is a great communicator and Arthur really enjoys learning from him. Arthur has recently successfully completed his grade 1 piano exam, with Jon’s guidance. We will continue to use Jon to teach Arthur piano and would highly recommend anyone to use him.
