About Faye
I am a guitar tutor with over 7 years of experience teaching both in-person and online. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Guitar Performance, focusing on Contemporary Styles. My lessons are designed to inspire creativity while strengthening technical and musical skills. I enjoy helping students explore compositional techniques and arranging for guitar, guiding them in developing their own original music.
My teaching philosophy centres on adapting lessons to each student’s goals. We work on harmonic concepts, melodic invention, counterpoint, and creating engaging arrangements. I also guide students in recording basic demos to bring their ideas to life. Whether you are a beginner just starting out or an advanced player refining your skills, I tailor every session to your level and aspirations.
I have supported students ranging from beginner to advanced levels, as well as professional and expert composers aiming to expand their creative voice. My approach combines structured learning with creative experimentation, making the process enjoyable and rewarding. We explore chord transitions, muting techniques, syncopation, and timing exercises to make your playing tight and expressive.

I provide clear, step-by-step guidance and consistent feedback to help you master timing, feel, and expression. We work on both technical skills and musical intuition so you can play confidently in any setting.
