About Sheng
I'm a dedicated tutor with over 5 years of experience, where I’ve helped numerous students significantly improve their grades — many of whom have gone on to become top performers themselves using my personalized notes and strategies. As a top student myself, I understand the pressure and expectations that come with academic success. I’ve been tutoring since 2022, with over 4 years of experience helping IGCSE students in Computer Science, English, and Mathematics. My lessons have supported a wide range of learners — including top-performing students — and I bring the same high standard I applied as a top student myself.
My teaching method focuses first on deep understanding of the topic, then guiding students to connect what they learn with personal experiences or real-life contexts. Once the concept is clear, I help them master the marking scheme, especially for IGCSE-style structured answers, so they can score effectively.
I keep lessons interactive and engaging, often using quizzes, games, and practice tests to reinforce memory and check understanding in a fun, low-pressure way.
