About LITSA
I specialise in teaching violin from beginners to advanced soloists. I have over 10 years experience and my students have succeeded at competitions and auditions throughout the UK and overseas.
I am happy to help prepare students for ABRSM exams and music scholarship auditions to public schools. Students successfully prepared for entrance to music college and specialist music schools.
My approach is supportive and thorough. I am trained in the Russian School of Violin Technique and apply this to my teachings. I have researched stage presentation and performance psychology coaching students to be at their best on stage. I am also available for chamber music coaching or orchestral audition preparations.
Consultations available online or in person to assess skills and to plan an appropriate study programme.

Prizes and Scholarships :
Litsa has been awarded numerous prizes for her performances including 1st prize in the Anglo Czech Trust competition, Gold medal at the Llangollen International Eisteddfod, further prizes from Leverhulme Foundation, Lawrence Atwell’s Charity, Philharmonia Orchestra Martin Musical Scholarship fund, Countess of Munster Musical Trust, the Louise Childs Trust, the Concordia Foundation, and a Sony EMI Music award. Litsa was finalist in the BBC Young Musician of the Year competition, and as a result performed on BBC 2 and BBC4.
Appearing in numerous radio and television recordings Litsa has also broadcast for BBC Radio 3, BBC Southern, Classic FM, Israeli Radio, ITV –ITN and RT
