I’ve known and worked with Antonietta for three years now, and during that time she has cooked for me, given me rides, and introduced me to several Ingmar Bergman films. During the lively discussions I’ve shared with her regarding Italian cinema and culture she has often impressed me with her knowledge and passion for the subject. She even taught me how to properly pronounce my own Italian surname. Overall I consider her a delightful friend and coworker with a love of languages and art.

When it comes to teaching, Antonietta's philosophy is that the focal point in exchanges between her and her student is the latter. As such, she doesn't simply deliver information but pays close attention to how receptive the student is to the material presented to them, and tweaks and adjusts her delivery to elicit maximum engagement from the student. Her intelligence, passion, kindness and humorous streak will ensure that you have fun while learning. And if your goal is to learn things about Italian culture, as well as pick up some language, you can count on her for that too!

Her classes are really helpful and organized and you notice that she cares a lot about her students as she adapts her lessons to the needs of the individual students.
