Ciara worked with our daughter for more than a year helping her hone her skills, working across a multitude of styles and mediums in fine art. Ciara was always positive and kind, gave specific feedback and detailed order of business from week to week. She took my daughter from being a talented kid with a love of art to a skilled artist with appreciation for all kinds of art. Ciara helped create a confidence in my child that allowed her to try new things and the support she needed to keep at it, to challenge herself, and to have fun while creating! Ciara was always on time, communicated about what to expect each week, and was exactly the kind of support we needed as a family to make the somewhat stressful process of putting together a high school portfolio a good one. I started out as a relative beginner. Ciara introduced me to new media going from pencil and charcoal to paint. And different subjects going from a drawing of an egg to painting portraits.

Ciara is a wonderful teacher, she is thoughtful, kind, and well educated on a variety of topics within art, writing, and art history. She is extremely helpful and has excellent communication skills.
