I've had face-to- face lessons with Emily, and she is honestly one of the most patient teachers l've ever had. I struggled for ages trying to learn a better vocabulary and get a better understanding of English as I mostly struggled with my language. Since I had my lessons with Emily, my grades have improved and ive build a wider understanding and structure for my GCSE exams.

Emily helped me achieve top grades in GCSE English Language and Literature by helping me develop independent analysis and creative writing skills. Initially, she led by example by demonstrating how to analyse different kinds of literature properly and write essays effectively. As I improved, she gradually encouraged me to develop my own ideas first and helped me channel them effectively, which is what I struggled with the most in English. She gave me constructive criticism on my independent work and gave me the knowledge and confidence I needed to achieve my potential in this subject.

I met Emily through my biology tutor, and I recommend her as she did a brilliant job teaching me English language for my GCSE! I struggled being in school full-time, and Emily did an amazing job at catching me up. We did our tuition sessions online on Teams, and there was barely any difference than doing it in person. Emily always sent me any resources I needed beforehand.

Emily was my tutor to help me with my English GCSE’s, and helped me greatly. She helped me go up 2 grades for both my English exams and was very helpful taking on what I said I needed help with, and different ways to approach different questions within the exams. She also went the extra step and found me booklets of different quotes, annotations, and themes for the texts my exams were on, which helped me greatly.
