About Iona
Hello, my name is Iona. I’m an experienced Drama Teacher with a background in teaching for theatre companies, primary and secondary schools, and theatre schools. In addition to being a LAMDA and GCSE examiner, I’ve always been passionate about helping young people build their confidence, find their voice, and develop skills that will serve them in any career, not just the performing arts.
With over 20 years of experience as an actor, teacher, and drama examiner, I’m deeply committed to advocating for the arts and the transformative power of learning through drama. I offer practical acting lessons for all ages, with a specialization in coaching children and teenagers. My services include GCSE and A-level drama theory, as well as LAMDA coaching in Introductory, Acting, Devising, Speaking, Verse and Prose, and Speaking in Public.
Additionally, I provide Acting for Camera (Trinity College London), conversational English lessons for ESOL students, and Public Speaking coaching. Whether you’re aiming to boost your performance skills or enhance your communication abilities, I’m here to guide you on your journey.
