My name is Samiya Younis, and I am not only an artist but also an educator who is deeply passionate about nurturing creativity and helping individuals unlock their artistic potential. Teaching is not just a profession for me; it is a calling. I believe in the transformative power of art and its ability to inspire, heal, and provoke meaningful conversations. Witnessing the growth and confidence of my students as they explore their creativity is truly gratifying and drives my dedication to teaching. With a background in interdisciplinary art forms, including sculpture, painting, installation, photography, and performance, I bring a diverse range of artistic expertise to the classroom. I have exhibited my work both nationally and internationally, which further solidifies my legitimacy as an artist and educator. My utmost priority as a teacher is to inspire confidence in my students. I strive to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Perfect! Samiya has been teaching my son private one-to-one art lessons after school, and we have been really impressed with her approach and teaching style.
She plans engaging and varied lessons that have helped him explore different artistic techniques and mediums. So far, they’ve worked on still life drawing, sculpture, and recreating a scene from Diary of a Wimpy Kid using watercolours. Each project has been enjoyable while also helping to build his confidence, creativity, and technical skills.
Samiya is patient, encouraging, and has a wonderful way of making each lesson both fun and educational. My son always looks forward to his sessions and is proud of the artwork he creates. It’s been lovely to see his enthusiasm for art grow under her guidance.

Samiya is a great tutor who is very aware of how to support and guide you throughout each exercise. I have learned a great deal and it has been fun. I have also learned the value of confidence to try different types of art and experiment with it. Great experience.
