About Arthur
I am an experienced economics and mathematics tutor as well as in the past being an economics examiner. I have taught at a private school in London for a few years where I have had a notable impact on student performance, with 85% of my students achieving A/A* in their respective subject.
I possess a First Class Economics & maths degree from the University of Nottingham graduating as one of the top students in the class. Prior to this I studied Maths, Economics, Russian, Biology and Philosophy at A Level obtaining A*A*A*AA. I first began tutoring during my A levels at school tutoring GCSE students and helping A level Students who were struggling to realise their full potential.
I have now been tutoring for more than 5 years.

My approach is to first of all assess a students current knowledge and understanding in order to determine areas of strength and weakness so as to take the most direct and tailored approach. I will use this to design a programme of study for the given student designed to ensure that they are on track to achieve an A/A*. We will work through this programme together as well as independent work being assigned to the student. Review exercises and exam style questions will then be given at the end of each section, to test knowledge and understanding.
