About Lekshmi
I am a research scholar in Management Studies with prior professional experience in a premier management institution, where I worked in academic and teaching-support roles. My academic background and institutional exposure have provided me with a strong foundation in management education, research methodology, and student mentoring.
As a research scholar, I am deeply engaged with academic literature, contemporary theories, and applied research practices. This allows me to offer conceptually strong, up-to-date, and academically rigorous guidance to students at different learning stages. My previous experience in a reputed institution has also trained me to maintain high standards of professionalism, structure, and academic discipline** in every class.
I have worked with undergraduate and postgraduate students, competitive exam aspirants, and research-oriented learners, helping them understand concepts clearly and approach exams and academic work with confidence. I place strong emphasis on clarity, logical explanation, and individual attention, ensuring that learners feel supported throughout the learning process.
I believe effective teaching goes beyond content delivery. As a teacher, I strongly believe that learning should be simple, structured, and confidence-building. My approach focuses on helping students clearly understand concepts rather than memorising content, so they can apply their knowledge effectively in exams as well as in real academic and professional contexts.
I use a concept-based and learner-centred teaching method, where complex topics are broken down into easy, logical steps. I combine theory with practical examples, case discussions, flowcharts, and real-life illustrations to make learning engaging and meaningful. I also adapt my teaching style according to the learner’s level and pace.
A typical class usually begins with a brief recap of previous concepts, followed by a clear explanation of new topics. I encourage interaction through questions, discussions, and short exercises to ensure active participation. Classes often conclude with summaries, exam-oriented tips, and guidance on how to approach similar questions independently.
My special strengths as a teacher include clarity of explanation, patience, structured delivery, and strong academic mentoring. I pay close attention to individual doubts and provide personalised guidance, especially for students preparing for competitive exams or working on research projects.
My classes are intended for undergraduate and postgraduate students, UGC NET aspirants, PhD scholars, and adult learners who wish to strengthen their understanding of management subjects, research methodology, and academic skills. I aim to create a supportive and motivating learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and growing academically.
My experience with IIM Kozhikkodu will also be helpful for accomplishing this.
