About Lubna

I’m a Mathematics teacher with over 15 years of experience teaching students across different curricula and age groups. I have taught students from Middle School up to Grade 10, and over the years, I’ve learned that every student understands Math differently.

I don’t believe in simply asking students to memorize formulas or follow steps without understanding them. I like to break difficult concepts into simple, manageable parts and give students the time and support they need to understand them properly.

I’m patient, approachable and always encourage my students to ask questions—no matter how simple they may seem. My goal is to create a space where students feel comfortable making mistakes, because that is often where the best learning happens.

Whether a student is struggling with the basics, needs help keeping up with schoolwork, or wants to prepare for exams and achieve higher grades, I adapt my lessons to suit their individual needs.

Most importantly, I want my students to leave a Math lesson thinking, “I can do this!”

I believe Mathematics becomes easier when students understand the “why” behind every concept, rather than simply memorizing formulas. My lessons are interactive, structured and personalized to suit each student’s learning pace and ability.

• Teaching Methodology: I focus on concept clarity, step-by-step explanations, real-life applications, problem-solving and regular practice. I use questioning and differentiated activities to identify misconceptions and build confidence.

• Lesson Duration: Typically 60 minutes, with flexibility depending on the student’s age, level and learning needs.

• Experience: I am an experienced Mathematics teacher with 15+ years of teaching experience across different curricula, including Cambridge, IGCSE, CBSE and other international programs.

• Who Are My Lessons For: I teach Middle School students through Grade 10, supporting learners of different abilities—from students who need help strengthening their fundamentals to those aiming for higher grades and exam success.

My goal is not just to help students get the correct answer, but to help them think mathematically, solve problems independently and become confident in Math.
