About Talia
Hi, I'm Talia! I'm a qualified secondary teacher and educational leader with more than 10 years of experience supporting students of all abilities to succeed. I currently work as the Leader of Inclusion and Diversity where I support students with diverse learning needs and work closely with teachers and families to create positive learning outcomes.
I hold a Bachelor of Education, a Graduate Certificate of Education (Catholic Studies), and a Graduate Certificate of Special and Inclusive Education. Throughout my career, I have taught Science, Mathematics, Sport Science, Nutrition, and Agriculture, and have extensive experience supporting students with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, learning difficulties, and school-related anxiety.

Every student learns differently, so I tailor lessons to meet individual needs, goals, and learning styles. My approach is patient, encouraging, and highly structured. I break complex concepts into manageable steps, build confidence through small successes, and teach practical strategies students can use independently.
Whether a student needs support understanding subject content, preparing for assessments, improving organization skills, or building confidence in the classroom, I focus on creating a positive and supportive learning environment where they feel safe to ask questions and take risks in their learning.
Most lessons are 60 minutes, although shorter sessions can be arranged for younger students or those who benefit from shorter, more focused learning periods.

I work with:
- Upper primary students (Years 4-6)
- Secondary students (Years 7-12)
- Students requiring additional learning support
- Students with diagnosed or suspected learning difficulties
- Students preparing for NAPLAN, exams, and SACE assessments
- Students wanting to improve study skills, organization, and confidence
My goal is not only to improve academic performance but also to help students develop confidence, independence, and a positive attitude towards learning.
I believe every student can succeed when they are given the right support, strategies, and encouragement. I would love to help your child reach their potential and enjoy learning again.
