About STUDY
Kwame is an experienced Maths tutor specialising in GCSE maths with over 10 years’ experience. He is passionate about helping students fulfil their potential within the subject of maths alongside making the subject fun, engaging and simple to understand. Kwame studied a degree in Accounting and Finance obtained from UEL and later went on to complete a PGCE qualification from the University of Greenwich.
Of recent in the 2017/18 academic year he took on 7 students boasting a 100% success rate with all passing their maths GCSE`S. His highlights of the year are helping two higher tier students move from previous grades of a U to one achieving a grade 6 (B equivalent) and the other a 5 (B- equivalent).
Alongside over 10 years’ experience in maths tuition he also has 5 years’ experience working as a secondary school maths teacher in a number of schools around London and Kent. In one of the Kent schools he played an integral part in helping the school to achieve the highest maths results in the school’s history. This led our team to numerous opportunities, namely working as maths consultants helping support other schools in the country.

I'm passionate about developing independent learners and aim to do this by developing strategies which cater for the specific student. I find that problem solving and exams are areas most students find difficult so I aim to focus improving students in this area.
