About Jh
I am a senior medical officer in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology of Hospital Kuala Lipis. Over my years in the department, I have found that most doctors have little or very poor knowledge in managing ENT cases. I have often found misdiagnosed or mismanaged cases. These are all because we have very little, if any, experience in ENT throughout our medical school years and even housemanship training program in Malaysia. I have been given the honor to give lectures during various events, including our annual courses and hospital educational presentations, and I found that they are very helpful in helping the others to learn more about ENT-related topics. I hope that I can share my knowledge in the ENT field with medical students to prepare them for their future in the medical field.

My lessons mainly target undergraduate medical school students, especially those who have little exposure to ENT. I encourage students to learn more from different clinical scenarios, promote critical thinking skills, and improve clinical history-taking. Typically, my lessons take around 30 minutes to 1 hour.
I am currently in the middle of my journey in pursuing postgraduate studies in otorhinolaryngology.
