About Anushka
Hi! I'm Anushka, a second-year medical student with a passion for helping aspiring medical students achieve their goals.
Having received 4/4 medical school offers, I understand first-hand the dedication, preparation and confidence needed to succeed in the medical school application process. I know that interviews can feel daunting, especially when you are unsure what to expect or how to approach challenging questions. I want to use my own experience to help students feel more prepared, confident and capable of showcasing their potential.
I believe that every student has the ability to improve with the right guidance, encouragement and constructive feedback. My approach is friendly, supportive and tailored to each individual, creating an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and learning from them.
As a current medical student, I can share my perspective on the application process and help students develop the communication, critical thinking and reflective skills that are essential for medicine interviews. I aim to make every session practical, engaging and worthwhile, ensuring that students leave with clear goals and strategies they can apply independently.

As a second-year medical student who received 4/4 medical school offers, I understand first-hand how challenging and daunting the medicine interview process can feel. Having successfully navigated medical school interviews myself, I want to help aspiring medical students develop the confidence, communication skills and critical thinking needed to perform at their best.
My tutoring approach focuses on helping students understand what interviewers are looking for, rather than memorising scripted answers. I tailor each lesson to the individual student, identifying their strengths and areas for improvement and providing practical strategies they can apply to a range of interview questions.
Lessons include realistic MMI and traditional panel interview practice, covering key areas such as medical ethics, NHS issues, communication, teamwork, empathy, professionalism and motivation for studying medicine. I encourage students to think critically, consider different perspectives and structure their answers clearly while ensuring their responses remain genuine and personal.
A key part of my teaching is providing specific, constructive feedback after each question. I use a What Went Well (WWW) and Even Better If (EBI) approach to highlight what students are doing well and identify actionable ways to improve. Where needed, we work through challenging questions together, breaking down the reasoning behind a strong answer and practising how to communicate it effectively.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes and can be adapted to suit each student's needs, whether they are just beginning their interview preparation or approaching an upcoming interview. Sessions may focus on particular topics, timed question practice or full mock interviews to help students become comfortable thinking under pressure.
My lessons are suitable for aspiring undergraduate medical students at all stages of interview preparation. Having received all four of my medical school offers, I hope to share the skills and strategies that helped me succeed, helping students approach their own interviews feeling prepared, confident and ready to show medical schools their potential.
