Hi, I’m Christina, a passionate and dedicated guitar tutor with experience in both teaching and the music industry. I hold a BA in Professional Musicianship (Guitar) and an MA in Music and Sonic Media from the University of Sussex. Over the past six years, I’ve been helping students of all levels discover their musical potential and grow as musicians. Beyond teaching, I’ve had the privilege of working as a Streaming Music Executive, which gave me valuable insight into the evolving music industry. I also have hands-on experience in recording, performing, and songwriting, which I bring into every lesson to make learning both practical and inspiring. She’s fantastic at explaining and demonstrating (and patiently re-explaining) how to play everything, from a simple 4-chord song to fingerpicking and rock anthems. She tailors each lesson around what you want to play and even enjoys the challenge of teaching a song she’s never heard before. Catching up with her every week is a joy, and she’s a constant source of encouragement as I dive into learning the guitar. I can’t recommend lessons with her highly enough!

Christina has really helped me not only learn how to play the guitar and songs that I really liked but also has helped me learn how to be able to read music better and understand the different styles of playing and overall a greater understanding of how the guitar works. She is patient, kind and always tries to challenge me so I improve.
Christina is an excellent guitar teacher. She knows my daughter’s starting points and builds on from that each week. I can see an improvement on practice which Christina plays a big part in. Christina is also flexible, supportive and super friendly. I’d recommend Christina 100%

Christina is a fantastic teacher. She always lets me know which areas I need to work on, and sets the pace where we’re always looking at new topics. She sets the bar for me just high enough where it’s difficult, but what I need to progress. (And while it might not be as important, she also has great taste in music!)
